Thea Frey – Soul's Dance

    german version

Thea Frey | Philosophy | Gallery | Teaching | Book: Soul's Dance

Premise and prologue:

“Dance when you’re broken open!
Dance when you’ve torn the bandage off!
Dance in the middle of fighting!
Dance in your blood!
Dance when you’re perfectly free!
Struck, the dancers hear the tambourine
Inside of them –
As a wave rises to foam on its very top, begin!
All the tree leaves are clapping time!
Close your ears on your head,
That only listen to cynical jokes and lies!
There are other things to hear and see:
Dance, music and the brilliant city inside the soul!”

By the 13th century Sufi poet,
Mevlana Chelaleddin Rumi
